Innovative outcome through exploration and exploitation – Enablers, barriers and industrial property

Purpose This research aims to study the effect of R&D (research and development) enablers barriers as well industrial property on exploration, their influence exploitation finally possible impact innovative outcome (IO) a result variable. The IO can be defined orientation towards new or improved products, services processes, penetration greater market share, which company has obtained processes. Design/methodology/approach For this purpose, relationship model is defined, empirically contrasted in quantitative study. We use sample large firms from different economic sectors with high level investment R&D. Findings results indicate close between exploration positive outcome. Moreover, type that have demonstrated lack exploration. Practical implications These may lead markets opening up creation improvement processes diverse highly firms.
